This featured image comes from Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, FL. Tropicana field is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays. Tropicana Field was originally known as Florida Suncoast Dome and later the Thunderdome. The Suncoast Dome finally got a regular tenant in 1991, when the Arena Football League’s Tampa Bay Storm made its debut. Two years later, the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning made the stadium its home for three seasons. In the process, the Suncoast Dome was renamed the Thunderdome. The image itself is not too original or have an exciting story like the other pictures on the site, but for those not in the know most of the local sports teams will allow cameras with detachable lenses so make sure you review their camera policy. This photo is unique as it was one of the few I did edit to remove some items that were not in the correct place in frame.
